Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") set forth the conditions for using the application "Playlyst" (the "App") provided by Studio Ink & Echo ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the App, the user is deemed to have agreed to these Terms.

Article 1 (Scope)

These Terms apply to all relationships between us and the user concerning the use of the App.

Article 2 (License)

We grant the user a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App for personal purposes in accordance with these Terms. The user may use the App to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable laws or these Terms.

Article 3 (Account & Cloud Sync)

›To use the cloud sync feature, the user creates an account with an email address and password.
›The user is responsible for managing their password appropriately. We are not liable for any damages arising from unauthorized use of an account.
›The user may delete their account and synced data at any time through features within the App.

Article 4 (Paid Subscription)

›Certain features of the App (collectively, "Plus") are offered as a paid, auto-renewing subscription.
›Free trial: A free trial period (e.g., the first 7 days) may be offered. If you do not cancel during the trial, it will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the end of the period.
›Billing & renewal: Fees are charged through Apple’s App Store. A subscription renews automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
›Cancellation: You may cancel at any time from your device’s App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect from the next renewal.
›Refunds: Refunds after purchase are subject to Apple’s refund policy. We may be unable to accommodate individual refund requests.
›Fees and plan details are subject to change. We will provide advance notice of any changes.

Article 5 (Prohibited Conduct)

When using the App, the user must not engage in any of the following:

›Acts that violate laws or public order and morals
›Reverse engineering, modifying, or gaining unauthorized access to the App
›Acts that infringe the rights of us or any third party
›Acts that interfere with the operation of the App

Article 6 (User Content)

›The rights to data the user creates within the App—such as tasks, notes, and history (collectively, "User Content")—belong to the user.
›We store and process User Content only to the extent necessary to provide services such as cloud sync. The handling of User Content is governed separately by the Privacy Policy.

Article 7 (Intellectual Property)

Intellectual property rights in the App and the software, designs, trademarks, and other materials contained therein belong to us or the rightful owners. Materials such as music and artwork provided in the App may not be used beyond the purpose of using the App.

Article 8 (Disclaimer of Warranty)

The App is provided "AS IS." We do not warrant that the App is fit for the user’s particular purpose, that it is free of defects, or that data will not be lost. The user is responsible for backing up important data themselves.

Article 9 (Limitation of Liability)

We are not liable for any damages incurred by the user arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on our part. Even where we are liable, such liability shall be limited to the extent permitted by law.

Article 10 (Changes / Termination of Service)

We may change the content of the App or terminate its provision upon prior notice to users.

Article 11 (Changes to These Terms)

We may revise these Terms as necessary. In the event of significant changes, we will provide notice on the App or our website. If you use the App after such changes, you are deemed to have agreed to the revised Terms.

Article 12 (Governing Law & Jurisdiction)

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. In the event of any dispute regarding the App, the court having jurisdiction over our location shall be the exclusive court of first instance by agreement.
